This is one of my favourite tracks from the smartly curated ambient compliation release by Canadian imprint, Obsolete Components, titled "Pollution." The label is obsessively hardware driven with a rule towards no digital manipulation or sources from their artists. Their results are often unique and warm and never disappoint. MG is the solo alias by vocalist, songwriter, synthesist and guitarist Martin L. Gore of Depeche Mode. MG is his second full legnth release for Mute Records in London and his ifrst as the tag MG which stems from a previous release with fromer Depeche member Vince Clarke, VCMG. The album is made up of short bursts of raw emotional soundscapes and is a departure from other offerings from Mr. gore as there are no vocals. As such, it has the effect of a dark film soundtrack. Well worth checking out!
