Under the name Dingo Balearico, George Barnes digs into the deep end of music—Balearic, cosmic, dub, disco, and beyond.

A longtime DJ and creative director, his selections are less about trends and more about building moods that linger: the afterglow of a party, the calm before a storm, the drift of waves on the shore. He’s played everything from underground clubs in Sydney to late-night sets in Brooklyn, always chasing that line where rhythm meets atmosphere.

Now based in New Brighton, George is also co-founder of The Salty Mangrove, a coastal eatery and community hub where music, food, and culture intertwine. Expect eclecticism, warmth, and a sense of adventure with every show.
