In an act of rebellion against cheesy breakfast radio, Paige Leacey and Gemma Clarke have curated a variety show (semi-regretfully named 'Facon and Veggs') brimming with thought-provoking conversations and groovy tunes. Passing the mic around to a diverse smorgasboard of guests, the Byron local and Gold Coast blow-in dig deep to find out what's cooking in their communities and beyond, (over)sharing plenty of their own candid anecdotes and opinions along the way. Interspersed with lashings of fantastic music -- from neo-soul and West African funk to Indian folk and a little bitta country -- this is a breakie show that'll keep you glued to your car radio all morning. Kitchen opens from 6AM, and you can find all the songs we play smooshed into a playlist here.
