It’s school holidays and with many visitors in the region, today we hear about a wild creature that has paid a visit with the trip ending in tragedy. A sea leopard has been spotted along the coast in recent weeks and recently washed up dead on Broken Head beach. We hear more about that from Byron Bay marine biologist, Dr Mary Gardner.
The consumer watchdog has renewed calls for an end to the federal government’s small scale solar scheme; we hear what solar advocates are planning to do in response and Northern Rivers based editor of Renew Economy, Giles Parkinson joins us for more on that topic as well as other news from the renewable energy sector.
