Tina Turner believes in it with all her heart, so much so that in 2009, she joined creative forces with two renowned musicians based in Switzerland, one of Christian background (Regula Curti) and the other a Tibetan Buddhist (Dechen Shak-Dagsay), to go beyond culture, beyond tradition, beyond self, to go “beyond the beyond,” as Su Poet Rumi wrote, to meet together in a eld of pure potentiality. The result is a remarkable album entitled “BEYOND Buddhist and Christian Prayers”.
In 2011, “Children BEYOND” followed: 30 Children from different cultures and nations sing together prayers and mantras with Tina Turner, Regula Curti and Dechen Shak-Dagsay. “Children BEYOND” is the Soundtrack from the “Planting Seeds of Mindfulness” Movie based on the bestselling book Planting Seeds of Mindfulness, by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and the Plum Village Community.
In 2014, the third album "Love Within BEYOND" was released with Buddhist, Christian and Hindu Prayers featuring Tina Turner, Regula Curti, Dechen Shak-Dagsay and Sawani Shende Sathaye.
The forth album "AWAKENING BEYOND" was launched in November 2017 with lyrics and prayers from six different cultures and spiritual traditions worldwide featuring Tina Turner, Regula Curti, Ani Choying, Dima Orsho, Sawani Shende Sathaye and Mor Karbasi. See more at www.beyondsinging.com.
