This week I've featured one of the first bands I ever got into, Deep Purple!
The track featured is from their 1974 album Burn!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burn_(Deep_Purple_album)
This was the first album with the new Deep Purple Mk III line-up and the first to not feature Ian Gillan on vocals who had replaced Rod Evans for the "In Rock" album, who was intern replaced by future Whitesnake singer, David Coverdale for "Burn"
Bass player Roger Glover, was replaced by a bass player who could also sing, Glenn Hughes from Trapeze
Also, from this week on, you may notice a few changes to the show!
Firstly, there are new intro and outro's to help make the show run smoother and make it more recognizable
Secondly, there is a brand new section called "Phase-On" which combines two tracks, the first using a "phase shifter" and the second has the word "on" in the title
Hope you enjoy the show
Phase-On!
